The classic, juicy, and aromatic pear, ‘Bartlett’ is known for its smooth, buttery texture and rich, sweet flavor. The fruit ripens in late August to early September, turning from green to golden yellow when fully ripe. Excellent for fresh eating, canning, and baking, it is one of the most widely grown pear varieties. Productive and easy to grow, ‘Bartlett’ thrives in many climates but requires a pollinator for best yields.
* Eliminate plastic pot waste with root pouches! Simply slice the pouch and plant it directly into the ground. The root pouch is biodegradable and will naturally break down over time.
*For successful cross-pollination, you must purchase two different cultivars, two seedlings, or one cultivar and one seedling. Important: Two identical named clonal cultivars will not cross-pollinate.
